Travel

We encourage all out-of-town guests to use this as an excuse to visit and explore New York City or Upstate New York. Both are beautiful in the spring with unlimited things to do and see!

Kingston, New York is about a 2 hour drive north of New York City. We recommend flying in to NYC (or Newark, NJ) and driving or taking the train up to the area. Renting a car may be ideal so that you can explore the Hudson Valley more easily, but Ubers and Lyfts are available if needed (during reasonable hours) to and from the train station.

Taking the train from NYC:

  • Recommend taking the Amtrak from Penn Station (Manhattan) to Rhinecliff, NY. From there, Kingston is a short 15 min uber/taxi from the train station.

Transportation to/from the venue:

  • Driving and Parking: For those that have a car, there is parking at both venues (Jeremy’s and 7 Miles to Kingston). You are welcome to leave your car overnight if needed.

    • Parking at Jeremy’s (Welcome party): Follow the signs to Jeremy’s down the gravel road (see image of the map here). Please park fairly close to another car so there is room for everyone.

    • Parking at 7 Miles to Kingston (Wedding): Follow the signs to park in the lawn area directly across from the venue (see image here). Please park fairly close to another car so there is room for everyone.

  • Uber/Lyft is available in the area, but please plan ahead in case wait times are long - especially when arriving to the wedding. Wait times late at night can be very long, so we suggest it only as a backup plan if you are using it to get home. For rides home at the end of the night, see the shuttles section below.

  • Shuttles and rides home: On the night of the wedding, there will be a 14-person Ford Transit van and an SUV shuttle running for those who need a ride back home. Both cars will run from 10pm - 3am and will make continuous trips to/from the venue to wherever you need to go. Shuttles will be located in the High Falls Cafe parking lot, at the beginning of the dirt road.
